Mina said nothing to Hyde, she hadn't been able to look him in the eye after that day. She just nodded quietly, though she knew that it wouldn't be to much of a stretch if he had. And if he had done that to Miku...or any other woman. She'd never be able to forgive him.

"And why did you save her?" She asked out of curiosity. Wondering if he saved her for some ulterior reason, like to get back in her good graces.

[Mr. Hyde]

"wha-why you...you say?" he slurs then licks his lips cleaning the blood off them "I said I would protect her didn't I?" he said the brutes eye squinting at Mina as if trying to focus on her. "I knew you would be upset if something were to happen to her" his bloody hand moves to a wound on his side to try and stop the blood leaking out of it. "and sh-she helped me to, made a distraction " his gaze now turns to miku in an pained smile "I need to thank you for that luv" he rasps out. "where's Nathan?" he looks around the tent now.

"Ah. I have never, met a talking lion before..." Miku said. Certainly, this creature did not seem to be a monster like those dogs were, and did not seem to want to hurt her. "Do you have a name? My name is Miku. Did they, capture and put you in this place too?"
Her conversation was interupted when Mina came in. Miku was glad to see her. "Miss Mina!" Uh, yes, I guess I'm all right. I'm not hurt, but it was so scary. They put me in the cage with the monster dogs, and I probably would have been killed. But then, Edward saved me!"

[nala]

Sarafina looked at Hyde and Mina and turned her head to Miku and she nods "Yes, my name is Sarafina and yeah they captured me and put me in this place" The lioness said. The female dark creamy feline nods "Oh! i've never seen a human in the savannah, before i was in this place" Sarafina tells Miku pretty green eyes looking at the girl .

The winged lioness gave her a small smile and she looked at the cage and thought to herself in her head I wish i was in the pridelands again

Her gut dropped at that, the circus workers had put her in the cage with those animals? An Innocent girl like Miku literally thrown to the dogs for the crowds entertainment and amusement. This place really was hell.

"Well then we are all lucky he was there." Mina said smoothing the girls hair slightly. She frowned deeply wondering what would've happened to her had Hyde not been there. No she didn't want to even think about it, they probably would've thrown Mina in the ring as well. And she would've tried to save the girl...and possibly died trying.
"Thank you...for that." She finally said to Hyde still not looking at him, even though she was grateful for him saving her friend she was still disgusted by his earlier behavior. And there was nothing he could say or do to make it up to her.

He of all people should have known not to say something like that in front of her. After what she had been through before...how she still had nightmares about what she had been through. And would forever bare the scars, both the one's on her throat and the ones on her soul.

[Mr. Hyde]

"welcome" Hyde hisses his eye now turns to look at Mina. "it was better then watching her die" he moves an arm stiffly and pokes his shoulder tenderly to test it "shit" he hisses involkeing a jab of pain in his shoulder. "Now where's Nathan?" he questions again this time looking stright at Mina. shit what have i done he thinks his gut thobbs painfully upon seeing the damange he caused her.

"Around here somewhere I'm sure. Though he's never there when you really need him." Mina said getting up and going to the tent flap looking outside for any sight of the doctor. Or anyone really. Someone she could signal for help.
Though if it were that easy, they'd all be out of here by now.

[Mr. Hyde]

"oh great..." Hyde mutters his eye fallows her every movement it had a glozzy look to it no doubt from all the pain the brute was in. " i managed to kill one of them you know?" he grunt out "makes one less thing for me to fight" he says

[miku]

The girl gave a small smile back to the lioness.
"Well, I hope that you will one day soon find your way back home, so you can run free again."
It was different seeing an animal kept in the zoo, that was usually for their protection or children's education, right? But taken from their homeland and changed and locked in an awful place like this. Poor thing.
Gingerly, Miku put out her hand, wanting to pet her a bit.

She looked up as Mina walked out, feeling some disappointment. She had come to feel some comfort at the woman's presence, similar to that of a mother's.

"Oh" Sarafina said softly and smiled sadly as Miku tried to pet her the cream colored female lioness looked at the girl with her beautiful dark green eyes.

Mina came back in unable to find Nathan or anyother medical personal. It upset her that whenever they really needed them they were always no where to be found. Though that didn't really suprise her as she learned very, very quickly that one had to look out for ones self in this place.

Because no one else was going to.
However she did find some painkillers laying around. Whether it be from a customer or from a worker Mina couldn't be sure but it was better than nothing at all.
"Here." she said handing the bottle of pills to Hyde. "There's about twenty of these in here. So take three for now. And I couldn't find anyone out there at all. We'll just have to make do with what we have."

[Mr. Hyde]

"thanks" the brute murmurs before poping the cap open and taking 3 said pills. "ah let's hope you know how to stitch a wound close" Hyde looks up at Mina "after all I would think from being a teacher and all you might know?" Edward gives out a grunt of pain as he moves in a better position for her to have extcess to his wounds. "might I ask why your helping me? Seems like you should let me die after what I said and did" Hyde then turns his bloody face to look at miku again before looking back at Mina.

Mina said nothing to Hyde, she simply tended to his wounds not looking him in the eyes. She didn't hate him enough to let him die, and she doubted she'd ever be that angry with anyone. The closest she had come was when she found out about Griffins death, she had felt relife that he had presumably been dead and gone. But even then had she been the one to face Griffin at the Museum she doubted she would have been able bring herself to kill him.

But that didn't mean she forgave him either, especially because he knew what she had been through in the past. Mina would keep any words or interactions with Hyde at a bare minimum, so as to not compilcate her feelings. Her feeling for Hyde felt unsure and complicated now, she was both disgusted by his behavior towards others, and not just Miku, and a bit hopeful. But not by much.

In contrast her feelings for Pavi Largo had grown considerably, she felt like he understood what she had been through.
Possibly because he had been through something similar by the way he got his scars, and they werethe only one's who saw each others scars both physical and emotional.
And she felt horrible for even having these feelings in the fist place.

[Mr. Hyde]

"you didn't answe me" Hyde grunts his gaze still on the winged woman in front of him the swelling in his eye went down enough for him to open it now althought the angry red marks on his face could be easily seen from a distances by a passerby. "not speaking to me won't help you much Miss Murray you should know that" he said his eyes never leaving her frail frame.

Miku gently petted Sarafina's head, careful not to make any sudden movements. It just petting a very large soft cat, which technically she was. It reminded her of the cat she used to have when she was younger...
She tried not to listen to Miss Mina and Mr Edward's discussion.
