the thread for those who are returning from the battle. also open to anyone.
the large forum of Edward Hyde staggers his way threw the tent flaps leaving a bloody hand print as he pulled the flap open. Miku still safely in his large arms it was only when he reached a crate it was then he put her down laying her body across it. "went threw hell for this one i did" he states his legs suddenly give out and he slumps to the dirt floor blood flowing freely.

After a while, Miku stirred and opened her eyes. What had happened? Oh right, when they had through her into the cage with those monstrous animals. It was so frightening, and even after she had fainted from fear she could still hear the awful sounds of the battle. But, it seemed she was still alive,, and finally out of there.
"Edward saved me, hadn't he..." She whispered to herself. She would have to find a way to thank him.
In the dim light she saw a large form on the ground, covered in blood. She gave a cry as she recognized him "Edward!! are you all right?"

"ha do I look it?" the brute rests against the side of another crate his non swollen eye cracked open and stares at miku a mixture of relief and annoyance was etched on his blood spattered face. "I should be asking that to you" he wheezes as he gives out a laugh.

Miku thought about going to fetch a doctor for him, but realized that there would probably be no one willing to help.
"All right, as far as the situation goes, I suppose...." She said, sitting up. "...um... thank you so much, for saving me... I really appreciate it...."

"course you do" he sneers "otherwise you'd end up dog food for those mutts" he motions with a hand towards the tent flap. "but like I said I'm only doing this for Mina"

"Well, I am sure Miss Mina will appreciate that you helped me." With some wince of effort, Miku crawled over to him and tore off a piece of her now stained shirt, offering it to him as a band aid of sorts. "Here."

He nods then watchs as she offers him a peice of cloth "er..thanks" he murmurs grasping the fabric and lightly dabs at one of the deep cuts on his chest with it. Soon the cloth was stained crimson with a flick of his wrist Hyde tosses it to the side the rests his head back.

She nodded and sat back, silent for a while.
"...Why would they have put me in there?" She wondered aloud. "Were they trying to have me killed? But, if I am one of their new acts, and surely they knew that I can't fight at all.... I think I heard them mention that it was a test...."

"yes, I reckon they wanted a good show so they put you there to add that" he said his eyes now survey his broken body breath coming out in short gasps now suddenly soon enough though he had it back under control.

Sarafina came in limping and went to the cage and she was sad that her friend had died. But Bobo was in a better place now and she would have other friends later but it did not matter now and the dark cream female feline said to herself "I'll have other friends sooner or later" The dark cream winged lioness sighed.

Seeing that he seemed to be in trouble, Miku decided to take a chance on calling for help for him.
"E-excuse me, doctor? Someone? M-Mr. Hyde is really hurt! He needs help!" she called out, facing towards where she thought the door might be. It was worth a shot.
She nearly gave a jump as she saw the lioness come in. Was it one of the ones who was in the battle?
It didn't seem quite so dangerous now though. Miku thought it was quite a beautiful creature. But she was surprised as she heard the sigh.
"Y-you can talk?"

"i'm fine!" Hyde rasps sitting up half way only to sink back down his head hits the crate with a dull thud although the brute made no mention if it caused him pain or not his good eye was now forcused on Sarafina who had just entered the tent limping badly.

Sarafina looked at the girl was she in the battle when she fought with Hyde and Bobo was next to her ? Sarafina nodded to Miku :"Yes i can .... " Sarafina said in a soft voice to the girl . The dark cream lioness smiled to Miku , Dark green eyes scanning the cage and the winged feline was surprised to see Miku again ...

"You are not fine!" Mina snapped entering the tent, having just come from her own tent where she had fed on a handful of volunteers. The first thing she saw was Hyde very bloody and beat up. Although she was very, very upset at him for his behavior towards the young girl, that didn't mean she didn't want him hurt or dead.
She walked over to Miku and got between her and Hyde, just in case he tried anything. Mina no longer trusted Hyde to not do anything like that when she was around.
"You were stupid to think you could change him." She thought to herself irratibly. She turned her attention to Miku now. "Are you alright dear, you seem...afraid."
Instantly she wondered if Hyde had made an attempt towards the girl.

Hyde lifts his head up just in time to see Mina enter the tent."Mina?" he rasps hope flickering in his good eye for a moment. "Mina...luv it's not like that i did'nt touch her if..if anything i did the opposit i saved her" he motions with a hand towards Sarafina "it was her and that damn mutant leopard" blood spatters from his hand as he uses it to point at the lioness.
