Basic Appearance: Betelgeuse is a corpse. His skin has a very pale, ghostly appearance, and it’s not uncommon for parts to begin rotting, leaving behind green, fungus like patches on his skin. His hair is dirty blonde(literally), and his teeth are rotten and green. He wears a black and white striped suit with a black tie and white undershirt, and his fingers have red tips.

Personality: Betelgeuse is very…disgusting. He has a love for all things gross, and a hatred for all things sweet. He loves to have fun, usually by causing mischief and pranks and by just making problems for everyone else. He lies, womanizes, gambles, drinks, and swears, but hey, what’s wrong with being a little blue collar? Betelgeuse also takes things very literally; for example, if he were to say “this really bites” a pair of teeth would appear to bite him.
A few more quirks would be that he has a terrible fear of Sandworms, he’s a born showman that loves to pull pranks in gruesome manners, and he knows 101 ways to eat beetles! Normally, if you say his name three times, he will appear, and will make him disappear as well. He also has great magical powers, and can fly, unless he is in the presence of Sandworms.
Enemies: The entire Neitherworld population, basically.
Allies: None
Family: Mr. and Mrs. Juice(Parents), Uncle Sid, Donny Juice(little brother)

History:
Betelgeuse was born in the Neitherworld to his ghost parents. He grew up to be the assistant of Juno, a case worker for the deceased. He caused too much trouble for Juno, however, and went off on his own to be a bio-exorcist.
He was “hired” by Barbara and Adam, a recently deceased couple who needed some help getting rid of the Deetzes, the family that had taken their house after they died. When they fired him for being too frightening, he managed to trick Lydia Deetz, the only human who could actually see Barbara and Adam, into calling his name three times(which can bring Betelgeuse to you or send him away), then later tricked her into agreeing to marry him in exchange for his assistance.
With the help of Barbara and Adam, Lydia was able to call send him away before they had a chance to be pronounced man and wife. Barbara and Adam became friends with Lydia’s family. Betelgeuse, on the other hand, was sent back to the Neitherworld, and eventually banned by Juno. He turned to the living world, and settled on taking a job at the Dark Woods Circus.

“Hurry, hurry, hurry, folks, it’s the chance of a lifetime! See the most disgusting, revolting creatures this world and the next has to offer! All for a very affordable price. Take the little ones with ya, we don’t mind! Hell, you can leave ‘em if ya want, we’ll turn ‘em into real respectable little freaks and monsters! C’mon, what do ya say?”
Betelgeuse smiled his crooked toothed smile, exposing the green bugs in between his rotten teeth. Most of the people who passed him by gave him strange, fearful looks, each wondering if he was an employee or one of the exhibits himself.
After quite a few people had passed him by, BJ was getting frustrated. Scowling, he rose up into the air, and shouted out loudly, “Ya bunch of frickin’ LOSERS! C’mon, what does it take to entertain you assholes? Ya wanna see scary, I’LL GIVE YA SCARY!!!” With that, he proceeded to pull his more fearsome face, snakes and other gruesome creatures popping out the sides of his head as the people down below let out screams of terror…then walked as quickly as they could into the circus tent.
The corpse smirked, reverting back to his normal features. “Gets ‘em everytime….”
