Quote: "Who I am is a rather auspicious question."
Name: Sheik
Alias: n/a
Age: 20
Film/Show/Game/Book/Comic: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time/Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Species: Sheikah
Height: Slightly shorter than average
Weight: Average
Basic Appearance: A very muscular woman, Sheik dresses in a form-fitting outfit of varying blue hues, bandages interlaced at random to hide small blades. A cowl hides the lower half of her face, connected to a white and blue tabard which bears the red Sheikah eye, the symbol of her tribe. Sheik's skin was dark at birth but has since lightened due to years of working under the tent and in the Catacombs. Her eyes are a bright red, a mark of her tribe's line. Sheik's one vanity is her corn-yellow hair, which falls in a messy frame around her face. Falling to the mid of her back, her locks are kept in a tightly woven braid, and a spiked strip of leather has been laced through to deter opponents from pulling on it.
Personality: Sheik guards her personal feelings like a national treasure. The few who have ever been allowed into her confidence can be counted on one hand, and those still living on half that.
Like all Sheikah, Sheik was born with an ingrown desire to serve others, to act as their 'shadow', weapon, servant, whatever her master wished. This almost mindless obedience has been handed to the Ringmaster, much to the cast and crew's general dismay. Slow to anger but quick to strike, Sheik is very open to the idea of violence.
Sheik is a very quiet individual but is by no means dim-witted or mute. Strategically speaking, she's quite brilliant.
She has an inexplicable intolerance for men, primarily when it comes to fighting. Sheik claims them to be clumsy, inadequate opponents. Whether this feeling is a result of upbringing or personal opinion is unknown.
There is a popular rumor circulating the tent currently that Sheik and the Ringmaster are... Involved. Don't let Sheik catch you repeating that one, though.
Enemies: n/a
Allies: Dark Link, the Ringleader
Family: n/a
Role: 'Keeper' of the monstrosities.
History:
Everything about the Sheikah keeper is a mystery. It is known that, like much of the circus' cast, she hails from another world. What this world was or what her role was within it is unknown. Crew members hired at the Circus' beginning cannot even atest to when Sheik arrived, though it is a popular rumor that she was meant to be the first deformed attraction.
Sheik serves as the Ringmaster's enforcer, the bearer of her orders when she does not wish to make a personal appearance. Her day-to-day job, however, is to assist Facilier in his 'training'.
Sample Post:
"...I heard she ate a live duck once."
"...Ringmaster summoned her...."
"...Friggin' creepy eyes"
"Everything but the beak and feet"
"Some kind of demon"
"Oh gosh, really? You don't think they'd actually..."
"Sleeping together."
With a clatter the Sheikah shoved the bench backwards, rising as twin crimson orbs stabbed through the room. Silence immediately met her ears where there had been gossip just a moment ago. No one would meet Sheik's gaze as she sought the one... That last one, who had dared utter such implicit drabble.
