Quote: “I don’t know where ya are, guys, but I’ll track you down!
…And you’d better hope you didn’t desert me on purpose.”
Name: Danielle
Alias: Dani
Age: 15 (dog years)
Film/Show/Game/Book/Comic: Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure
Species: Dog (Cocker Spaniel/mutt cross)
Height: 8.6 inches
Weight: 5lbs
Basic Appearance: Like her sisters, Danielle has honey-coloured fur, darker ears, and lighter chest, paws, muzzle and head-stripe. Like Annette, her ears are shoulder-length, although unlike her sisters’ her fur is always verging towards being scruffier. Her dark brown eyes resemble her mother’s. She wears a white collar with a gold tag.
Mutations: N/A
Picture: (On the left)
Personality: While she can seem girly in some respects – such as her love for baths – for the most part, Danielle is really much more of a tomboy – and looked on by her sisters as the ‘crazy’ one for that. Even now that she’s a bit older, she still hasn’t lost her casual ‘Who cares what anyone thinks’ attitude. Since her sisters disappeared, however, she’s had to toughen up for real and get used to caring for herself, since she is now separated from both her canine and human family. Secretly, she feels abandoned by her sisters, and despite her best efforts, has occasional moments where her insecurity will show through.
Enemies: Left for RP
Allies: Jim Hawkins, otherwise left for the RP
Family: Annette, Collette, Scamp (siblings), Lady and Tramp (parents), Angel (adopted sister)
Role: Protestor
History: Danielle was the youngest of Lady and Tramp’s puppies, looked down upon as the runt, dismissed as the ‘crazy one’ – although the young cocker wasn’t one to let that get her down. She had a good relationship with Scamp – although she did have a tendency to gloat when he was the one to get into trouble. While she tried to cover it up initially, Dani was probably the sibling most affected by Scamp’s disappearance – and as such, the most welcoming when he returned. And even more so of Angel – here, at last, was another girl who liked to play rough, to cause mischief (although the pom regrettably did a much better job of covering her tracks than the two house dogs). Learning how to toughen up from Angel, life seemed more perfect than it ever had been for the young cocker.
Until her two sisters disappeared. While the rest of the family searched the local area, checked the dog pound, etc., Danielle’s gut instinct told her that they had been taken further than anyone else realised. In what may have been more an attempt to prove her worth than to keep the rest of her family out of possible danger, Danielle set off alone, leaving only a scratched message in the dirt – ‘gone to find sisters – be back soon’.
Against all odds, the white-collared cocker managed to make it all the way to the circus ground, although, having seen Annette’s current state, she now is less that sure of her next steps. Dani is, however, determined to rescue her sister(s?) no matter what, and has begun to make an effort to join a protest group.
Sample Post:
What was this?
Danielle was shaken to her core. Upon arrival at the circus ground – where the trail she’d been following had abruptly ended – the smaller cocker, at a loss as to her next move, had taken the opportunity to slip through the gathering crowds and make her way into the tent.
And she was horrified by what she saw. Low to the ground as she was, she – thankfully – couldn’t see the entire gruesome spectacle, but she saw enough. Enough to know deep inside that something was horribly wrong with this place.
Fighting not to lose her lunch at the vile sights, the pup hurried for the exit. She prided herself on being the toughest of her sisters – but this was something even she couldn’t stomach.
At the entrance, however, something prompted the young cocker to turn and gaze across the ring one last time…
And her gaze landed on a hideously deformed, but altogether much too familiar figure wearing a blue collar.
There was no mistaking her.
Annette.
Danielle dashed from the tent and the normally resiliant pup threw up into the bushes.
(Appologies if my sample post is a little off, but I wasn't entirely sure how Dani would react to first seeing the mutation that is her sister. Once I get her interacting with others, though, I'm sure I'll get her more in-character)
