Mina winced as she walked out of the catacombs the sunlight hurt her eyes after being in the dark for so long. They've kept her in a cell since she arrived back to the circus almost a week ago. It was carved into the catacomb wall not a single bit of light slipped through and all she could hear were drips of water on the other side of the stone wall, her breathing, and her heart beat. This was her punishment for leaving without permission. Even though she had not left by choice and she would've had to leave anyway to seek medical attention.
She let out a large sigh as she entered the exercise yard. It felt nice it stretch her wings out after being in such a small confined space. And she was alone at least. After her ordeal with the vampire and her growing hatred towards Hyde ontop of it she felt like she needed to be alone for awhile. It gave her a chance to calm down and to think more clearly without worrying about misstepping in some way and winding up getting punished once more.
"It'll be awhile before they put me back into the tents once more," She thought "They need me to be healthier so I look better and to ensure that I'll survive whatever it is they have in store for me."
