(Set June 16th morning, closed to Gwendolen, the Largos and Mina.) Luigi sat at his desk it was mid-morning and he had just finished his breakfast, a large mug of coffee in his hand, the first of the day. It was fixed right, for once, so no one got stabbed. Yet. He slowly finished off the cup and sets it aside. He then picks up his phone and dials. "This is the Ringleader?" He said.
"Good...I think now would be a good time to bring Gwendolen here, I take it Hyde is still alive yes? I thought as much. Well we'll keep her here till then, and maybe a few of the younger acts and workers as well...just in case. I assure you they will be well protected, and we'll be sure to pay you any money you might lose. Alright? Good, by the way, I'll be sending a town car to pick the girl up in about half an hour. I'll meet her there. And yes Mina Murray is here as well, and she's doing about as well as can be expected...but she'll live. Bye."

Pavi, meanwhile, was still in his room, sleeping in his bed with Mina at his side. He rustled softly, opening his eyes to a brief moment of confusion, then winced as the pain and the memories of the previous two days hit him. It was still extremely uncomfortable to wake up to two broken legs, obviously. Slowly turning his head to the side away from Mina, he reached out to grab a waiting glass of water and bottle of painkillers on the bedside table, swallowing them with a scowl of discomfort.
Settling back down on the bed tiredly, he leaned to face Mina again, wrapping her in his arms as before. He didn't want to wake her...not yet. Not after all she'd been through the day before. And he didn't want to get up and leave her alone in case she should wake(not that he could very well get up on his own anyhow). So he stayed at her side, sighing quietly as he pulled her closer to his body.

outside of the mansion, Gwendolen stepped out of the automobile, feeling important. The past few days have not been too bad. Residing in a circus did not provide the most pleasant experience and some have dared demand her to do some chores around, not that she did have much choice to deny since she needed to put up a good impression. And then there was the matter of that monster. Still, it felt good to be on her own terms and having people pay courteous attention to her, no to mention she she did draw information from giving orders to the lower employees and from harassing that silly mutant girl with the green hair. And now she would be on her way to her new home. Hopefully things would turn out far better than last time she went to live in a luxury place...

Mina didn't wake, she had to much trouble getting to sleep last night and staying asleep. Every shadow, scratch, bump, and footfall in the night set Mina on edge thinking at any moment the vampire could spring from the shadows and kill her and Pavi. When she did finally let sleep take her she would wake up every few minutes from the nightmares/memories.
Her last one was particuraly gruesome. Mina had dreamed that she was in her cage at the circus and through the opening of the tent she saw Pavi and Hyde fighting. And Hyde ripped Pavi to shreds, like she had seen him done with other men in the past, and he wouldn't stop chewing and shreding him to bits no matter how much she screamed and begged for him to stop, no matter what she promised. She had woken up at the crack of dawn from the dream, sweating and breathing hard. She was suprised to find she had been crying as well. Mina sat up looking at Pavi sleeping next to her for a long time to ensure he was safe. "All I've ever brought you is pain..." She thought as she went back to sleep drifting into a deep and blissful sleep unaware of Pavi even holding her.

Luigi noticed the limo pulling up to the driveway, watching carefully as Gwendolen stepped out. She appeared to be alright but you could never be sure at this distance, but at least she was far away from Hyde.
Now...He thought to himself listening carefully to the sounds of the house. Luigi could tell that Pavi wasn't up yet, or if he was he was waiting for his girlfriend to get up as well. Quietly and quickly he pulled out a contract he had had written up by one of his lawyers the previous night, knowing then would be a perfect time to set his plan into motion while his siblings were distracted with the injured woman.
In the middle of the night Luigi had shown up at the Circus and went straight to the Ringleaders tent claming that he had enough with them, and now that an act (which the circus was responsible for keeping under control) had wounded Pavi and tried to kill him (among other things) GeneCo would have the place shut down permantly. And everyone working in the circus would be sent straight to prison. No questions asked, no trial, no bail.
After hours of pleading their case the Ringleader was finally desperate enough to offer up something in return, to ensure that it wouldn't happen again. The Circus it'self. Once Luigi signed this deed 90% of the circus belonged to him. He signed his name carefully and slowly, ensuring there would be no possible way for anyone to say that his name had been faked. He grinned and set the deed back in the drawer, for now.
Luigi stood up straightened his back and walkd down stairs to greet Gwendolen, hopefully now that he was now the technical owner of the circus he could find a better place for her to live. Maybe there was a family near by who'd be willing to take in the orphan girl until, and if, they could find any known and trustworthy blood relatives.

Pleased that a servant was escorting her to the door, unlike that last place, Gwendolen entered the mansion and greeted Luigi Largo with her most charming smile. "Hello Mr. Largo! Thank you again for letting me stay at your home. I very much appreciate it!"

"No problem." Luigi said mildly, so far so good the girl got here safely out of harms way. Plus neither of his (fucked up) siblings were here to embarrass him, nor was Pavi's whore here to make him look bad. (Although from the way Mina seemed the last time he saw her he wouldn't be surprised if he never left Pavi's room again...at least not with coercion or force.)
"Have you got all your things, clothes, tooth brush and tooth paste stuff like that?" Luigi asked, feeling oddly paternal. "If you need any of that stuff I'll just send one of the servants out to get them for you." Then he remembered something else he was supposed to ask her, at least according to all the "overnight" guides for parents he read on line. "Do you have any allergies or medical conditions we should know about?"

Despite the help of the painkillers, Pavi was finding it hard to sleep, much like Mina. Too many possibilities of what could happen while his eyes were closed kept coursing through his mind. Whatever had happened with Mina and the other vampire had happened due to the fact that he hadn't been there to stop it...most likely he'd been too busy getting his ass kicked by Hyde around that time.
He couldn't let that happen again. He'd die before he let someone - or something - do her harm again. So after a few more miserable minutes of attempting to sleep, Pavi at last gave up, slowly pushing himself into a sitting position. He glanced at Mina for a few lingering moments, gently brushing a stray hair from her face as he watched her sleep. He was lucky he still had her...hell, he as lucky he was still alive after what had happened over the past two days.
But regardless, he needed to be getting up soon. Unfortunately, doing so without assistance was nearly impossible, with both his legs in a cast. Never had he been quite so pathetic before...oh well, first time for everything. He couldn't wake Mina, but he couldn't call for assistance either, so he was fairly helpless on his own. He couldn't get dressed by himself, couldn't get out of bed by himself, hell, he couldn't even go take a piss by himself. Which was both embarrassing and highly problematic for the Largo.
Perhaps he could pull himself into his chair on the opposite side of the bed. Just so he could get to the bathroom, or brush his hair, or something on his own. Inching his way past Mina to the other side of the bed, Pavi picked up his legs one at a time with his arms, biting his lip at the soreness and jolts of pain it caused. Slowly, he put one foot over the side of the bed, reaching out to grab his chair with one hand and push himself off the bed at the same time. But just as he was grabbing the chair, he slipped, falling forward and tumbling towards the ground face first. He made a rather loud commotion doing so as well, which only added to his embarrassment and pain.
"Fuck," he muttered into the carpet, turning his head so that his nose wasn't squishing into the floor.

Mina sat up quickly eyes wide, heart racing, and sweat on her brow at the loud thump. To her it sounded for her like someone was breaking into her room, or rather The Count was breaking into their room. All night she had had nightmares of him doing just that. She looked around the room expecting to see the blood drenched monster at the foot of the bed, but instead was shocked to see Pavi laying on the floor face down.
She jumped out of bed as fast as her injuries could let her, her body ached and she was practically covered head to toe in bruised in every shade from a dark green to a deep red. Mina knelt at Pavi's side and moved him into a sitting up position, his back against the bed.
"Pavi," She said pushing his hair out of his un-masked face, "are you injured?" Mina guessed that he had tried to get out of bed on his own and into his chair. She really wished he wouldn't, he needed to get better and putting strain on his body wouldn't do him any good.

Pavi groaned a little, feeling his face redden with embarrassment as Mina helped him sit. He gave a small sigh as she touched his face, shaking his head in response. He hoped he hadn't startled her with his fall; he certainly didn't need her worrying over him, after all that she'd been through.
"No," he answered, with a dry smirk. "Just-a my pride." He sheepishly wrapped his arms around her wait, kissing her forehead. "Sorry to wake-a you, amore. I didn't want-a to call the GENterns with you still-a sleeping...so I, um...tried to get up on-a my own. Which...didn't end-a well."
He suddenly remembered just why he'd needed to get up in the first place, and he asked, with just a hint of urgency to his tone, "Would-a you mind letting me call-a them now, Mina? I know you don't like-a them, but...I don't want to go asking for-a your help. You need-a to recover, too." Plus, there's only so many boundaries we can cross before things get uncomfortable, he thought to himself, realizing with greater urgency just how badly he needed to use the bathroom.

"No it's alright," Mina said moving towards the call box and pressing the button that rang for servants, she pushed it three times signaling the need for three women to arrive. In case Pavi needed help dressing or getting out of his chair in someway. She wasn't entirely sure they would come right away though, not with her in the room.
Since last night the Geneterns attitude towards Mina drastically changed going from them viewing her as a rival and bitterly jealous of Pavi's attention and genuine love for her, to being terrified of her. The one she had drank from last night had quit the moment her wounds were patched up, leaving so fast that she didn't even remover her uniform. "I'm actually grateful you woke me," Mina said quietly not turning to look at him. "I was just about to start another nightmare." She didn't need to tell him what the nightmare had been about.

Pavi frowned, pulling her closer as she turned away. He sighed quietly, knowing exactly what sort of nightmare she must have been having. And yet, he still felt as though he knew almost nothing about them, or how awful the attack had been for her. He wished she would tell him, but talking about it didn't seem to be an option at the moment.
"You can-a speak about it if-a you want to, Mina," Pavi said gently. He knew, as simple-minded as he could be at times, that it would be difficult for her to do so of course, but he felt he should tell her he was here to listen.
"I promise you, I'll-a be here to comfort you. I want to make-a your nightmares go away, for good," he said quietly, kissing her temple reassuringly. He hoped that the GENterns would be just a little delayed, if only for a moment or two, just so they could speak together alone for a moment.

Mina nodded slowly wipping the tears from her eyes. She sighed and tried to prepare herself for the memories. "I dreamed that...he attacked me again. Only this time he wasn't alone. He brought Lucy with him," She was silent for a few minutes trying hard not to cry again. "Lucy was my friend, and he killed her. And made her like him. They had to kill her to, only it wasn't really her."
The memory of finding out for herself what had happened her her best friend still hurt Mina deeply. Lucy had been a sweet innocet girl with a gentle nature. And Dracula turned her into something like him. " When she was changed," Mina said quietly, "Everything good about her died, everything." She then looked up at Pavi and gave him a serious look. "Pavi, when they found her she was feeding on children. Babies mostly, grabbing them out of their mothers arms and carriages, luring them out of the homes so she could feed on them. And in my dream...." She let out a small sob. "She had one with her and they were going to feed it to me after he had turned me again."

Pavi said nothing for a few moments, processing all the Mina had just said. For the life of him, he couldn't think of a single thing he could say that could possibly help this situation. What she'd been dreaming was horrifying, and when he didn't know how to deal with his own nightmares, how could he know how to deal with her own, which seemed far more frightening than even the most gruesome of his own?
Fake it, he supposed. Just like with the accent, his false confidence, and his pretended apathy towards many things that upset him. He'd pretend to know what he was doing, for her sake, like a parent pretending not to be scared in dire situations with their children. He'd comfort her, and be the strong one for once. It was the only thing he could do.
"Shh, darling, it's alright," he whispered, his hand moving in slow circles against her back as she sobbed. "Look here," he lifted her chin, staring into her eyes firmly. "That will never happen to-a you. I swear on-a my mother's grave. For one thing, he would have-a to find you. Which he won't. And for another, he'd have-a to get through everyone here, and the people keeping him outside as-a well. No one is invincible, Mina. I will hire the strongest bodyguards I can-a find for you. Hell, I'll find a monster hunter if it will keep-a you safe. Someone to deal with creatures like him. I will never let-a that happen to you, cara mia. I promise."

"Hm, yes, I do believe that I have everything, thank you." Gwendolen answered, setting down her trunk. Before she ran away, she had packed most of her best belongings. "As for any allergies or ailments, I do not think that I have any. I have always been a very healthy girl!"
