Mina looked up through half lidded eyes at Pavi coming back into the tent, well he was still alive and whole. Ever since she and Pavi declared their love for eachother she worried that Hyde would find out and rip the man apart. If something happened to Pavi, if Hyde killed Pavi, Mina doubted she'd be able to hold onto the last tiny flicker of hope.
It wasn't enough that she was turned into a mutated blood drinking monster (something she had nightmares about for years) held in captivity to be gawked at and laughed at by people who simply didn't care. But to have Pavi taken from her, the only good thing in her life...it scared her to think about what would happen.
"Che cosa voleva?" She asked Pavi stretching her arms above her head and yawning a little.

"And I wonder why that-a is," Pavi said sarcastically, knowing exactly why Mina was angry with Hyde. And, thinking back to that, Pavi felt himself growing more irritated with the man. Retreating back so that one hand was on the tent flap, Pavi sighed, and said coolly, "As-a much as I'd-a love to continue making unintelligible conversation, signor, I have-a manners to attend-a to. Good-a day." Hyde's lips curled upward teeth exposed he opens his mouth but then shuts it not finding the words with a shake of his head the man steps back a frown now settling on his scarred features. "good day then" he finally grunts out signaling that the conversation was over. Hyde gaze flicks one last time towards the tent flap before turning over and walks towards where BJ was.

Pavi sighed as he reentered the tent, frowning still until he met Mina's eyes. His frown faded into a smile, and he walked a bit more quickly towards the couch before kneeling down in front of it so that he was beside the vampiress. She looked so gentle laid there like that. Her otherwise fright-inducing features were rendered unnoticeable in Pavi's opinion, and she looked surprisingly submissive at the moment. Knowing the Z was to blame, Pavi suppressed the urge to scowl as he looked her knowingly.
"Niente di importante," he replied back, with a sigh, as he took one of Mina's hands into his own. Kissing the soft flesh, he leaned in closer to her, and rested his head against her side. "Just-a him pretending he cares about-a you..." Pavi muttered, frowning just a little again. "Nothing new."

Mina nodded, leaning forward slowly and giving him a gentle kiss where his neck met his shoulder. She reached forward and ran her fingernails through his hair. "He does....in his own round about, brutal way. But what he calls love, isn't really love." She said softly. More tired from the Z than from her worrying that Hyde would overhear. Mina wished he would over hear. Just so that he'd know her real feelings towards him, and they'd forgo the messy breakup.
"Not that it excuses his actions towards me and the others, but he's not human. There's no part of him that is human, so I was foolish to think he could ever express human affection or love." Mina kissed Pavi once more on his ear, wrapping one arm around his shoulders. "It's not at all like what I have with you. With him it's wild, savage, and animalistic. But with you, it's protective, tender, and I can let down any walls I have. Because I love you so deeply."

Pavi sighed softly at Mina's kiss and whisper, closing his eyes. Any anger he'd felt from before was melted instantly with her touch and voice; she loved him, and that was all that mattered. No matter how often she said it to him, he loved hearing it more and more each time. And happy with the knowledge that he'd become more important to her now than his "competition," he responded by kissing her lips gently.
"Ti amo, Mina," Pavi whispered, leaning forward to kiss her neck and shoulder softly. He knew that she needed to sleep; after all, Amber had been known to lay around sleeping for hours after her daily dose of Z. And considering that this was Mina's first(and hopefully only) time, she'd probably be exhausted, even though it wasn't a very big hit.
"You should-a rest," he said, still holding her closely. "You look exhausted, tesora."

Mina sleeply nodded her head, feeling sleep cloud her mind and vision. But not her sense of touch and smell. It almost seemed to heighten it. The smell of Pavi's cologne, a sweet warm vanilla smell, and his own scent of musk and sweat.
"Yes." Mina said eyes closing. Then looking up at him suddenly, almost fearfully. "Will you stay with me....please?"
She was afraid that on this drug her nightmares, no her memories, would be sharpened and more vivid. Mina felt she needed someone there with her, so that she'd know that it was all over. That she was safe.

"Of-a course, amore," Pavi replied, smiling softly and reassuringly down at the vampiress. "I wouldn't dream of-a doing otherwise." Pavi knew of Mina's nightmares, and didn't intend to let her try and live through the night with them after such a draining ordeal maybe an hour before.
Kissing her forehead softly, Pavi brushed a few strands of hair from Mina's face, intending to keep there beside her as long as he could. He didn't really care of the consequences at this point; he'd stay here with Mina all night if he had to. He didn't even mind the fact that they weren't able to engage in their nightly rendezvous; this was rather nice in its self.
"I'll-a stay here as-a long as-a you need me, Mina," Pavi promised, giving her a gentle, yet serious smile.

Mina smiled and lay down on her side looking at him, so he would be the first thing she saw when she went to sleep and the first thing when she woke up. Mina wrapped her hand tightly around his hand, fearing what would come next as she slept.
"Pavi," She said quietly closing her eyes. "When did you realize that you loved me? I just, still can't believe that you'd fall for someone like me, in a horrible place like this. Or that I'd feel that way back."

Pavi smiled, pulling Mina's hand close to his mouth and kissing the skin softly as Mina closed her eyes beside him. He was tempted to lay beside her and attempt to sleep as well, but he didn't intend to let her go through the night after the Zydrate alone. He would keep an eye on her; he could do without a night of sleep, anyway.
At her question, Pavi paused, thinking carefully. He'd tried to pinpoint the exact point when he'd began feeling differently towards her, but found he couldn't, no matter how he tried. As for realizing it, he might have said when Mina had tended to his wounds when Luigi had fought him, but he felt that it was earlier still than that. He just hadn't admitted it to himself.
"I can't either, amore," he answered back just as quietly, leaning forward and resting his cheek against the top of her head. "I think...I think it was a few nights before-a Luigi and I fought. You were-a sleeping, and-a you just looked-a so beautiful and-a gentle looking...and-a you had-a my blood on-a your mouth. I think that's-a when it finally hit me," he gave a small laugh, looking down at her with a half-smirk and half-lidded eyes.
"And-a now, not a day goes-a by when I don't-a think about how much I love-a you," he whispered into her ear, before kissing her forehead lovingly.

Lydia stepped away from the tent as soon as the man, Graverobber he called himself came barreling out. Her eyes went wide when she noticed the drying blood on his neck.
"Jesus..." She said quietly to Beetle Juice raising her camera and taking a quick picture of Graverobber crouching by the tent bleeding, it was to much of a phtoto op for her to pass up. "I heard there was a vampire here but I didn't think they meantand actual was one. I thought she was one of those, like, people who just like to drink other peoples blood or claim to feed off others energies. Not like an actual one who needs to drink blood, and has fangs, and wings and stuff."
Despite the fear of being in the same area as a blood drinking creature of the night, and seeing the obvious damage she had done to the Grave Robber, Lydia felt excited. The same excitement she felt when she met the Maitlands and discovered that they were infact ghosts.

Mina smiled warmly at Pavis words and kiss. She reached up and stroked his hair gently. "I think I fell a little bit in love with you that night you had be brought to your house. Having your mouth on my neck, I've never been so vulerable but so turned on by someone before. It just grew from there."
She closed her eyes a moment thinking back to the time she realized she loved him. "I realized I loved you...when you were late that one day. And my first thought was "What if I never see him again?" just the thought made me feel ill, and that's how I knew. But I was afraid to say anything, I was afraid you wouldn't feel the same way."
She leaned forward slightly and laid her lips gently on his. Mina wanted to do much much more, but was so worn out from the Z that it wouldn't have been possible. But that would wait for later. "Cara Pavi, ti amo così tanto."

Beetlejuice smirked at the exchange that had went on between Hyde and Pavi, glancing at the former of the two with an amused expression as he came grumbling back over. What interested him more, however, was the appearance of the Graverobber, who ran bleeding at the neck back behind the vampiress' tent to listen in on something. He briefly considered going over to bug him, but let the thought slide, focusing on Lydia again.
"Nuh-uh. Sorry to burst your bubble, kid, but she's not a real vampire. None of these acts are real," he shrugged, watching as she took a picture of the dealer before he'd taken off for the woods. Apparently she was still into the camera thing. At least some things didn't change around here. "They're as real as the Ringleader can make 'em, but few are the real flesh and blood like yours truly," BJ smirked, dusting off the front of his suit with a bit of a proud expression.
"Yeah, she's gotta drink blood, has the fangs, the wings, the whole deal...but only 'cuz we made her that way," he briefly wondered whether or not he should really be telling her all these things, but honestly, he didn't care. The fact that he was trying to impress her with his knowledge didn't help either. "I'd take ya in to see her, kid, if she wasn't busy with Mr. 'Valentino' in there," he rolled his eyes with a smirk, directing that particular jab about the Italian visitor towards Hyde in particular.

Pavi returned Mina's kiss with an appreciative smile, enjoying the familiar flutter that rose up in his chest from her touch. He was far past the stage of shy blushes and nervous fumbles when it came to romance and physical contact, but with Mina, everything seemed to be different.
"Tu sei perfetto, Mina," he whispered back, gently leaning her head back towards the couch. She needed her rest, and, surprisingly, Pavi was alright with simply watching her for the night. He would have preferred sex, of course, but this would be fine for the night. Just watching her sleep, and keeping her company throughout the night.
"Ti amo. Now, get-a some sleep. I'll stay awake here beside you until-a you wake up, to make sure you don't-a have the nightmares, alright?" He said, putting a hand to the side of her face softly, smiling into her eyes.

Mina nodded closing her eyes, and gently taking his hand in hers. Her breathing slowed down as she drifted off, trying not to think about her past and the memories, it always made it much worse when she did.
Instead she focused on the times she had with Pavi. The times they'd walk around together either in the woods or at the Largo mansion, holding hands and talking, or being the last thing they saw when they went to sleep and the first thing when they woke up.
