Mina let out a tiny gasp of pain as the needle went into her, though it wasn't an entirely unpleasent sensation. As the blue glowing liquid flowed through her vains she started to feel a grogginess overtake her.
Though that wasn't the exact word to use. It was a combination of numbness, tingling, and a strange euphoria. Mina slid down so that she was laying down on the couch her legs drapped over the arm of the couch not even caring that Graverobber could see most if not all of her body, or that in her drugged state he could take advantage of her if he chose to.
Every negative emotion, trauma, and pain had been switched off. And she was floating in a sea of numbness, everything around her seemed to slow down to an almost standstill. It was like for that breif moment nothing in the world mattered at all. It was beautiful.

Meanwhile, outside sitting in a nearby tree, Beetlejuice was preoccupying himself with picking bugs out of the rotting bark for a little midnight snack. However, the ghost was shortly interrupted from his task at the sound of dialogue beneath himself. He cursed to himself, rolling his eyes at the though of having to break up some sort of fight or entertainment, but as he turned to look, he was met with a rather surprising sight indeed.
"Well well, hehe…what have we here?" Beetlejuice smirked, grinning from ear to ear at the sight of a very familiar face down below. Lydia Deetz, the cute little babe from the Maitland Affair a few years back. The kid had grown up, in all the right places, yet her quirky little attitude seemed delightfully intact.
The man was vaguely aware of the other people around her, but was far more concerned with the girl. Now, to present himself. He quickly mused up his hair, loosened his tie, and wrinkled up the front of his suit, and made sure to tuck the bug he'd been saving away in his back teeth, before slowly floating down, making sure to keep out of sight of Lydia.
"What's up, babes?" Beetlejuice suddenly asked, appearing in front of Lydia in one quick movement. Grinning so that all his dirty teeth(and the beetles hiding in between them) showed, BJ gave a small bow as he landed on the ground in front of her.
"Well well, who the hell do we have here?" He smirked, and gave a mock gasp. "Why, it wouldn't be my old flame, now would it? You know what they say about exes is true; they always look hotter after they dump ya."

"No, no, no, no, no!" Lydia said taking several very large steps behind her to put as much distance between herself and the ghost. Usualy Lydia would not be afraid of a ghost, having practically been raised with them since her early teens. But this ghost was diffrent, he had tricked her into almost marrying him!
"You're supposed to be in the Netherworld, we sent you there! Oh Christ, don't tell me you tricked some other girl into marrying you?" Lydia let out a groan of disgust and anger, wanting to puch him in the face but not being able to bring herself to touch him. Just seeing him made her feel unclean!

Beetlejuice smirked, folding his arms across his chest as Lydia took several steps away from him. And giving him room to give her a once-over. Women definitely aged like fine wine...if fine wine grew nice breasts and an ass, anyway.
"Nothin' so lucky, babe," BJ smirked, chuckling a little as he stepped closer to her. "Juno decided I was too much for even the Netherworld to handle. Now you know me, I'm not one to keep my nose around where it's not wanted, so I thought I'd find a place nearly as disgusting and entertaining as I am! And here I am!" As he spoke, the ghost used his normal array of expressive hand gestures, ending with his arms thrown out to the side excitedly.
"Now, what's a hot tamale like you doin' in a place like this, babes?" BJ asked, appearing suddenly beside Lydia, wrapping his arm around her shoulder with a grin. "Not that I'm complaining, of course...still into the creepy scene, I take it? I always admired that about ya, kid."

"You have no idea." Lydia said shuddering at the feel of Beetlejuices touch and smell. He smelled worse than anything she could imagine. She turned her head away and gagged and coughed. "For starters the "creepy" scene is less of a 'scene' and more like my life." She moved away from him roughly as she didn't want to willingly touch him. Lydia turned and glared at him. Wanting to punch him in the face but not being able to bring herself to make physical contact with him.
"As it turns out I'm more strange and unusual than even I thought, the reason I can talk to ghosts and see ghosts is because I'm a medium, I can tap into the psychic frequences created by ghosts and communicate with them that way. As for why I'm here. That is none of your business."

"And your being a medium is my business?" Beetlejuice asked with a smirked, floating in the air closer to the girl again. It amused him how uncomfortable he seemed to be making her. Despite her grown features and attitude, the girls was still the same old Lydia Deetz he remembered. Dark, sarcastic, and all-together weird. Which was what had made her stand out in his mind from the get go.
"No problem; I'll find out why you're here eventually," Beetlejuice smirked, resting his chin in his hand. Suddenly aware of the fact that they weren't so alone at the moment, BJ glanced up in Hyde's direction, and his smirk grew. He loved goading the great hulk of a man; it gave him a chance to show off his "expertise," and it was just plain amusing.
"Well look what the cat dragged in. What're you doing out here, lead foot?" The ghost questioned. Glancing behind him at the vampiress' tent, he raised an eyebrow, before adding, "The Mrs. tired of your company tonight, eh?"

Graverobber couldn't help but smirk at Mina's reaction. He'd seen it a million times over, but there was just something about seeing someone take that first rush that made this job interesting. It was like they were suddenly overcome by this great wave of pleasure, that could somehow make everything better for a person. And even if it were only temporary, Graverobber took a certain joy in the fact that he could administer that sort of relief to desperate people.
And it precisely the reason he stayed away from the stuff. He'd taken Zydrate a few times before, in small amounts, but would never allow himself to become an addict. Because for a man who'd had little relief his entire life, substances that had the power to do this were especially dangerous.
He stood, tucking the gun away underneath his coat once more and eying the woman carefully. He cold see practically everything on her now, not that much had been covered to begin with, but he didn't intend to take advantage of her. That wasn't his style…though he certainly wouldn't be opposed to accepting a different sort of pay from this woman than money, if she intended to take more Z from him.
Knowing that her high would last for awhile longer, Graves took a seat, deciding to wait until she was herself again(or something like it) before he left.

Lydia took the opportunity to take advantage of Beetlejuices minor distraction with Hyde to move even farther away from him. It would be just her luck that her first night out on her own she'd run into him. The one ghost she couldn't stand!
Lydia turned her head and took in a large breath of fresh air trying to get his stench off her. She'd have to burn this dress now, knowing she'd never get the stench off of her. "Good luck." Lydia snapped sarcastically at the ghost "Now that I know you're here I'm not planning on coming back."

"got woken up thanks to your friend here" the brute answers shooting a glance at the girl then back to Mina's tent "as for Mina no she didn't" he grumbles now irritated by what the ghost had said. "she's" he pauses shooting another worryed glance at the tent swearing he could hear a noise from the winged woman inside "she's busy with a client and by client i mean one who will possiable be dead by the end of the night" he shrugs "no doubt she drinks all there blood" he shrugs again shooting BJ a somewhat bored look "so how do you know the girl?" he glances at the female.

Beetlejuice smirked at Hyde's reply, knowing that he'd been successful in irritating the man so far. For BJ, there was no greater joy than being a general nuisance to everyone around himself...except maybe a good romp with a sexy little ghoul. But as how the latter wasn't exactly an option at the moment, he supposed he'd have to settle for the first choice.
"All but one of her clients," the ghost snorted, rolling his eyes with a laugh. He knew the other would catch his jibe, and he knew that he could get away with it. Being dead had its advantages at times. "And as for her-" BJ paused at this, pointing at Lydia with a grin in her direction. Suddenly, he was beside her again, sparing her no personal space to call her own as he put his hands on her shoulders from behind.
"This little lady here..." Beetlejuice paused at this, pretending to get choked up. "Broke my heart," he said weakly and wiping a tear away, before breaking into another grin as he pressed his face closely beside Lydia's. "She and I go way back. She's my ex-fiance, ya might say."

As Mina rode out her Z high she felt her mind wandering trying to think of the last thing that made her feel good. No not just good wonderful. It wasn't long for her mind to think of something.
She thought about the last time she saw Pavi, and how they had held each other through most of the night. Not even saying anything just holding and occasionally kissing. It had been wonderful and she wanted the night to last forever.
Just so she could be with him forever.

"Get off of me!" Lydia snapped elbowing Beetlejuice hard in the chest. "You disgust me you slimy creep!"
As soon as Lydia got away from Beetlejuice she wiped off where ever he had touched her trying to get the dust, dirt, and whatever else might have dropped down on her. As she was wiping herself off she suddenly got an idea. "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!" She said quickly hoping, praying really, that he could be banshied the same way as before.

Graverobber tried to make himself comfortable in the chair, but he was a man of restlessness. He couldn't feel comfortable in a place like this, no matter how hard he tried. Even for a man who was used to sleeping in dumpsters and living with Zydrate addicts, this was a little too creepy for him.
He stood up, moving around the tent and occasionally glancing over his shoulder to make sure that the woman was alright, before he began to consider heading outside for awhile. There were potential customers waiting outside, and the vampiress would no doubt be busy riding out her high for at least another several minutes.
But no sooner had he opened the flap of the tent did he come face-to-face with Pavi Largo.
It took the dealer a few stunned seconds to react, but before he could say a word, Pavi was already glancing over his shoulder at the woman still writhing on the couch. The darker-haired man's eyes widened, and darted between Graves and Mina. Graverobber knew that the man wasn't exactly a genius, but it wouldn't take much for even Pavi to understand just what was going on. And before Graves could even get a word out of his stunned mouth, Pavi's hands were on him shoulders, pushing him back into the room with an unexpected burst of strength.
"What are-a you doing here?" Pavi demanded, his thick accent filled with badly-masked anger causing the dealer to make a face. This wasn't the first time he'd been face-to-face with Amber's crazy, rapist older brother, but this was perhaps the first time Pavi had actually spoken directly to him, much less come at him in a threatening manner.
"I said, what are-a you doing here?" Pavi demanded again, this time not even bothering to hide his anger at the man. He tried to push Graves again, but this time the man was able to react properly, and remained rooted in his spot. Pavi wasn't very strong, compared to him at least, and he was a few inches shorter as well. Despite being one of the most powerful men in the world, he wasn't very intimidating.
"Business," Graverobber answered dryly, raising an eyebrow critically at the other.
"I know-a that," Pavi snapped, roughly jerking the other forward by the collar of his shirt. "I want-a to know why you are-a doing it here." Before Graverobber could even come up with a smart remark, Pavi rushed towards Mina's place on the couch, taking the vampiress' hand in his own worriedly. "Mina?" He spoke to her, the anger leaving his tone completely, replaced by concern. "Mina, amore, answer-a me!"
This caused Graves to raise an eyebrow, What in the hell was this?

The sound of Pavi's voice filled Mina's body with joy. She opened her eyes part way to look at him, wincing a bit at the light, she could make him out. But the edges around him were soft and somewhat blurry as it was hard to focus. She didn't even realize that he was holding her hand, she couldn't even feel it.
"Pavi!" She smiled sleepily trying to keep from drifting off back into her soft warm euphoric world. "I was just thinking about you." She rolled over a bit and ran a hand over his neck, but missed instead she stroked the air clumsily by his neck.
She tilted her head back and tried to say something about how wonderful she felt it was like flying almost. But she couldn't get the words out at all. Instead she fell back against the couch again and murmured his name.

Pavi frowned at Mina's reaction, both out of concern and anger. He'd seen his sister react this way far too often; it was most definitely Zydrate, if Graverobber's presence hadn't been proof enough. He whipped his head around to face the dealer, who had started to silently edge towards the exit of the tent.
"Oh no-a you don't!" Pavi snapped, leaping up and grabbing the other by the front of his jacket. "How much did-a you give her?" He demanded.
Graverobber sneered at the other, but gruffly replied, "Standard hit." At Pavi's suspicious glare, he rolled his eyes, then admitted, "Half a vial. First hit's always free; doesn't mean it's a full hit."
"So how long-a will she be like-a that?" Pavi asked, a bit relieved that the vial hadn't been full. His sister's Z highs had been known to last for hours, but then again, Pavi had no idea just how many vials Amber would go through at a time.
"And you care because...?" Graverobber asked, cocking an eyebrow with an unimpressed stare. Pavi glared up at the man, tempted to wipe the smart look off his dark lips. "Alright, alright," Graverobber lamented again, rolling his eyes. "About half an hour. She's been like that for around ten minutes now, so you won't have much longer to wait, Romeo."
"Good," Pavi said, relief in his voice. Graverobber tried once more to sneak away, but not before Pavi grabbed him once more. "And-a where do you think you're-a going? You're-a going to wait with-a me, peasant," he snapped, pulling the other with him to sit by the couch. Graverobber sighed irritably, but followed along with it. Inwardly, however, his mind was racing to come up with means of escape. Pavi might normally not care about the affairs of Zydrate dealers, but apparently this chick actually meant something to him, and Graves didn't want to stick around for whenever she came to...not with an angry Largo there beside her.
