Facilier is very deceptive and sneaky. He’s very charming, which only adds to his deceptive nature. He’s known to go from a seemingly calm attitude to having a suddenly vicious temper, and it can be quite terrifying. He’s anything but nice, but the fact that he makes you want him to be is what’s really evil.

History:
Facilier was born in one of the bayous of New Orleans. He was orphaned at a young age, and was found by an old voodoo lady named Mama Odie, who taught him voodoo magic. Facilier wanted to use the magic to make a living for himself, but after finding out that it’s impossible to conjure things for yourself, he turned to his “friends on the other side.” Mama Odie, not wanting to be involved in his dark magic, cast him out.
Facilier tried to make a living for himself, but found it near impossible to gain the wealth he wanted due to his social status. He began to swindle people’s money, using trickery to make his money. He was growing farther in debt to his friends, and needed something really big to gain back their favor. So, he tried to trick Prince Naveen of Maldonia into giving up his soul, but was stopped by Naveen and his friends. In debt as he was, his “friends” drug him back to the underworld to serve out his dues.
However, Facilier managed to change their minds and give him one more chance. The Dark Woods Circus, a deadly, evil circus that held great potential for those interested in black magic, became his source of interest and employment.

The sorcerer chuckled as the woman attempted to grab him through the cage bars, a clear look of blood lust and anger playing out in her dark eyes. Facilier only smirked at the vampiress; he wasn't near close enough for her to have reached him, and the bars on the car were hard iron. There was no way she was going to get anywhere near his blood. He'd been starving her for a good three days now; already, she looked ready to kill anything that came near.
"Y'all hungry, baby?" He asked, kneeling down with false softness in his Southern drawl. He narrowed his purple eyes deviously, smirking at the female a moment more before scowling in disgust.
"Maybe that'll teach y'all to stay where y'all damn belong!" He shouted harshly, kicking the side of the cage as he turned to leave. No one gave the Shadowman the slip around here. Not again, they wouldn't.
