Mina's face flushed. Not because of his words and touch, or it had very little to do with that it was because she realized they were not the only ones in the tent.
"Edward, you forget we have company." Mina said back though not moving off of him. "We save that for when we're in private, and alone."

"hrrm? oh..oh yes that's right" Hyde chuckles "I bloody well forgot" Edward moves his hands and wraps them around Mina's waist gently still holding her against his chest "i suppose we must" he said looking away for a moment before looking back into Mina's eyes. "Do you know that it's a pity for God to make something beautiful for me knowing that one day i won't be able to see it anymore"

Darla felt the sensuality of it all and in fact felt that she wasn't helping but she still said nothing. She simply kept quiet til spoken to. Darla looked to the couple feeling glad for them and their confessions

Sarafina growled at the woman that talked to her and then Sarafina told Bobo a story about the great kings of the past that up there but it didn't calm him. Sarafina said "Shhhh I don't know if we 'll be fine my furry little friend" Sarafina hushed to Bobo the dark cream winged lioness smiled at him.

Bobo purred to Sarafina ,and the preteen mutant leopard licked Sarafina's cheek and he smiled at the dark cream winged lioness .

"Do you know that it's a pity for God to make something beautiful for me knowing that one day i won't be able to see it anymore" Mina ignored the growling lioness and the leopard cub focusing on the man infront of her, and the look in his eyes. Her hand curled around Hydes wrist, running her fingers over his rough skin. "I'm not going to go away you know...not for a very long time. And neither are you." She leaned forward and kissed him gently on his chin to sooth him. "I promise." She whispered to him. |

"but how can you be sure?" Hyde pressed his forehead against Mina's "i myself am never good at keeping promises but i will try especially for you" he sighs and closes his eyes to be at peace for those few fleeting moments. "I'm not really sure myself how long i can keep this up" brown eyes creak open slightly to look into Mina's face and lips once again press against the women's forehead. that sickening pang in his gut whenever the thought of Mina not being in her cage struck him was that what love was? he pulls away and cups a large hand to her cheek gently "Mina...I-" he stops looking away again i'm Edward Hyde the terror of Paris and London why can't i do this? he thought to himself

"Edward..."Mina said gently laying her hand on the one that rested gently on her cheek, "I already know. You don't have to say it yet, say it when you're ready."
She leaned forward and kissed him on his mouth slowly pushing her tongue into his mouth and wrapping her arm around his gigantic neck to steady herself and pull him closer to her.

Hyde closes his eyes as he let her kiss take him each movement of her tongue he matched with his own it went on for what seemed forever only then Edward realized he would have to pull away for air which he did do half heartedly. "I'm ready then" Hyde smiles down at Mina in his arms. "I love you" he says softy "i understand if you don't love me back just thought I'd let you know before anything happens to me" he leans back to gaze into her emerald colored eyes. "i know something will don't try to doubt it" Hyde says his brown eyes hold pity for her.

"I love you, too." Mina said softly her eyes shining with tears. "Why couldn't we have said it sooner?" She wondered outloud. "Why couldn't we have been reunited in better circumstances...where I wouldn't have the daily worry of one of us dying?"
She rested her head against his chest. Her face pressed up against is chest feeling the vibrations of his heart beat and the rumble of his breathing. She looked up into his deep black eyes. They looked so sad...and hopeless. She hated seeing him that way, that wasn't her Edward. Her Edward did what he wanted when he wanted, fate and everyone else be damned.
"No you're not...you're not going to leave me. Not this time," She said in a fierce voice that said not to argue with her. "Don't you dare die on me this time Edward Hyde, and if you do I'll go to Hell myself and drag you back."

Hyde opens his mouth to speak but immdently shuts it on hear what Mina had said the corner of his mouth pulls up in a smirk "and i believe you" he chuckles tilting her head upward as he caught her lips with his own it was nothing more then a peck on the lips, Edward pulls away "there now does that make you feel better luv?" not waiting for an answer the brute says "i think it was because we were busy trying not to get killed by martains"

Mina ran her fingers over Hyde's neck as he pecked her on the lips. It was not unlike their first kiss all that time ago on the bridge.
"And The Chinese Doctor, and then Molarity and then of course there was the fact that we had the other members of The League to deal with too. If we had gotten involved I'm pretty sure Nemo would've thrown us both out of the Nautilus right then and there."

"i would reckon that is the reason" Hyde rumbles "heh Nemo would have my ass mostly after all i was the one who started this whole thing" the brute shakes his head a rare smile gracing his lips. "and just think what Alan would say about all this" Hyde arranges himself now that Mina was resting against the side of the cage the brute now shielding her using his back.

Hyde just shrugs his broad shoulders as he looked down at Mina a sudden spark of determination blazed in his black colored eyes. Edward leans down and kisses the woman's forehead "thank you for giving me the strength that i needed" Hyde purrs his head once again pressed against the woman's own for a moment. The beast turns his body to look at the tent flap "get on my back" his eyes held no fear like that day on the bridge "we're leaving" he crouches down and turns to the side allowing Mina to climb on his back if she wants to.

Sarafina giggled as the woman kissed the old man , and said to Bobo :"Love isn't it something great ." Sarafina said to the preteen mutant leopard cub , and nuzzled him .
