Oh she forgot to mention her kiddnapping well it didn't seem to matter now since she was basically here where apparently no cared for anyone at all. Feeling curious of what hyde said though she couldn't help but ask "You were in the war?! Wasn't it frightening?"

"bahaha fuck yes i was in a war!" Hyde laughs at the statement "ate the slugs i did" he licks his lips still tasting the aliens. "i fucking took down a tripod with my own hands" he boasts to the spotted puppy now feeling full of himself. Hyde closes his fist as if crushing one of the aliens again.

Aliens? She never heard of those being in the war then again her part of home wasn't really near battlefield at all since people either joined or evacuated. It was indeed unlikely but then again so was being a dog with a robotic tail. She wasn't fond of the f word hyde used but she sounded shock as she asked "Weren't they big and scary and had sharp fangs like on TV?"

"TV?" Hyde grunts having come from the 1800 he had never heard of a television before "uhh..no..no they were more like slugs they had longs arms and larger heads i suppose" he shrugs again and moves to Mina's cage and slides down the side of her cage to sit.

Darla gave a nervous gulp. She for one never heard of those things being real. She was deeply frightened of a lot of monsters but becoming one herself made her less narrowminded. Looking back at Hyde he seemed to care for the vampire lady quite a lot and that made her smile seeing at least some concern for other people around here. Then she made her comment "Wow that's amazing"

"indeed" Hyde purrs now glancing behind him out of the corner of his eye "indeed she is" Hyde mutters and he quickly straightens up having realized what he just said he lets out a snort "Darla? what of your family?" Hyde says wanting to make small-talk with the dog.

Darla couldn't help but wag her tail as hyde made a accidental compliment to mina but snapping out of that she replied sadly "I don't know... My family probably is worried sick about me. They don't know where I am and I don't think any one of my family is even knowing of this place"

Darla couldn't help but feel that the realism was actually true although very hurtful. Still it was better than beatings so she took the realism but in truth it hurt. Looking to hyde she asked "What are they gonna do to us? The workers keep saying something about "fun""

Darla again was fearful. That for sure was NOT what she wanted to happen. She didn't know what to do though. She just stood there perfectly still and made a noticable gulp "W-what?"

Darla looked very freaked out as she saw that hyde was not planning to hurt the workers or her but a strange invisable man. This was just too scary to see her accomplice attack something that was not seen!
