Don't you just go to admin, customize forum, skins/forum colors, and pick create skin?
For me that gives me a bunch of colors to mess with for headers, backgrounds, text, etc.

Yeah, but I have no idea how to actually make the skin work. Like, I pick out colors and stuff, but I don't remember it ever giving an option of setting the skin onto the site... if that makes snese. ^^;

Oooookey dokey. The skin 'Dark' can now be sel- ah whatever, I'll just make it the default for now and ya'll can give me feedback. xD

It's rather bright (actually it kind of hurts my eyes), but it has a nice color scheme to it. C: My suggestion would be to possibly make the bright pruples in the boxes a little bit darker.
