Amber glanced at the woman narrowing her eyes a little.
"She might," She thought to herself, "If she knew about me and Pavi and saw me as an obstical between them." She of course didn't show what she really felt towards her brothers when anyone else was around. And she wouldn't start now.
"Well what if she gets really hungry?" Amber said. "Or if she decides she doesn't like me, and wants to get rid of me? She's strong, and fast, and could rip us to shreds if something got her angry enough. I'm just being cautious!"

"I've already decided I don't like you." Mina said glaring up at the woman. "And you're somehow still alive. Secondly I'm also capable of drinking none human blood, animal blood will do just fine, human blood just tastes better and has more nutrients in it."

Pavi glared daggers back at Amber. He had the sudden urge to slap her, and would have done so in an instant if not for the misfortune of being bedridden. When they were younger, Amber, then Carmella, was much easier to control. A good smack across the face usually put her into her place; but Pavi was quite certain that if done the right way, he'd have her respecting him once again...for once.
"Sister, I don't-a think you have anything to worry about," Pavi said, an almost catty tone to his voice. "Considering that-a your blood is tainted," he added, a look of near disgust on his face intended to sting. "Speaking of-a which, perhaps you'd-a better go and lie down. Aren't you normally asleep this time of-a day? Maybe a hit of-a Z would make-a you more amicable, hmm?"

Luigi meanwhile wasn't that far out of ear shot he was in the next room listening in on their conversation. So it appeared that Amber was very, very upset at Mina for almost killing that Genetern. He agreed with his sister for a number of reasons. He thought a moment or two...if he could make it seem like Mina was killing even more people that would give more reason for them to throw Mina out of their home. But, he thought for a moment, as satisfying as that was he would wait.
He could always wait.
