Miku gave a mournful sigh as she stood in the tiny shower stall, shivering against the cold water. It has already been few days since she had woken up in this nightmarish place and she had fully come back to her senses. It was obvious now that it wasn't a dream. And now tonight was going to be her first performance. Who knew what the audience was going to say about her about her now... She moaned and wrapped her arms around her wet body. Now that the hospital shirt has finally been taken off, she could see more of the results of her transformation. Those equine legs were connected to still feminine hips, covered by pale fur shades lighter than her hair that tapered off just past her waist. There was even a tail. Her slender torso still seemed human, though marred with some stitched scars that weren't there before. She had finally started to regain control of her new legs, managing to at least stand up and take a few wobbly steps. Maybe it would be one day enough to run away...
Her thoughts were interupted by the water shutting off, then an employee grabbing and pulling her out roughly.
"come on you, it's time for you to get ready!" With certainly not the gentlest handling, they dried her off and thrust her into a flouncy white dress with a halter top and green polka dots, and a pair of panties. "Now stay there while I get something for hair and makeup! You at least have to look somewhat pretty and sparkly for your debut, freak!"
As they left, Miku just looked into the mirror sadly and hummed to herself, trying to cheer herself up.

Sarafina came in and went to her cage and she looked at Miku and tried to cheer her up by giving the girl a small smile from her muzzle . The dark cream lioness with her dark green eyes , the dark cream winged feline looked at the girl .

Miku looked over and the lioness and magaed a small smile.
"Hi Sarafina" She said softly. "Wish me luck, I guess... Don't suppose you have any advice for my first performance."
She brushed down the fold of her dress, trying to make it her her legs some what. No such luck.

"You'll be fine." Mina said stepping into the tent. "Just...pretend that you're at home singing to yourself. Like no one is there."
Mina worried about the girl, she was a lot frailer than most of the other cast, and the youngest as well. And Mina felt that if she didn't protect the poor girl she'd be torn apart instantly. Particualry when Hyde made his threat towards the terrified and new mutated girl. It made her hate him and she inwardly fumed each and every time she thought about him.
"You'll do fine, and if any customer dares get to rough with you the circus workers will be there to stop them." Mina reassured her. "As will I."
And she meant it if anyone hurt this girl, Mina would show them just how much of a monster she had become in the past two months.

Miku gave a nod, feeling grateful. "Thanks Miss Mina. I'll, do my best..." She pushed herself up to her feet, hooves, and looked back at the mirror. The dress reached up to inches above her backwards knee. As she moved she felt the frills of the skirt swish around. It was a pretty dress indeed, one she would pick for a spring party. "You know, I never imagined my first real performance outside of school to be started like this..."

"thank you, Sarafina..." Miku sighed, brushing some wet strands of her thick teal hair away from her face. "I am rather nervous... I guess I'll just have to follow Miss Mina's advice... What was your first performance like?"

"Frightening." Mina said truthfully. "My act consists of me feeding on costumers or living animals. So to make it extra vicious the workers made sure I hadn't been fed in a couple days. The first thing I ate was a rabbit and well....it served it's purpose. After that it was a string of customers wanting to be eaten by a "real" vampire. Goth kids and wannabe goths mostly, and plenty of men. Just be thankful your act won't be like that at all."
Mina paused thinking about her act, it was...one of the more unusual acts as she participated with the customers. Biting into them or licking up their blood. It made her feel disgusted with herself, more so because without her act she wouldn't be fed at all.
And chances are she'd starve to death.

"Oh. Sounds really gruesome..." Miku shuddered at the thought of the act. Thankfully, Miss Mina did not seem to be always like that. "I know I am just supposed to be, but what if eventually soon they make me do something horrible too? I really hope not. I really don't want to hurt anyone..." She sighed sadly and went to hug Sarafina.

Sarafina purred as Miku went to hug her , Sarafina nuzzled her head to Miku 's shoulder and purred and said in soft voice :"Don't worrry you won't hurt anyone .. " The dark cream female feline said .
Dark green eyes looking at the girl and a smile like came from her creamy muzzle. The dark cream lioness sighed .

"Ok. Thanks for reassuring me, Sarafina..." Miku's smile returned a bit as she hugged the lioness.
A few moments later the worker returned and grabbed Miku again. He seemed almost a bit frightened of Mina and Sarafina though. He dragged a brush through her damp hair and placed upon a wreath made of fake purple flowers., then began dabbing some make up on.
"All right, new freak! You'll be up soon!"
"You mean for the performance? B-but I don't even know what I'm supposed to sing for it!" Miku cried in worry.
"I guess they just want to sing whatever decent song, I don't know! But if that's your act than you'd better do it for your own good! Now hold still, brat!"

Sarafina gave a purr to Miku and dark green eyes scanning the stage and The dark creamy feline said and She tought that the girl will have luck . Oh yes Sarafina 's friend will have luck , Sarafina was confitend in herself .
