The Ringmaster surprisingly encourages love relationships between her little attractions. SHe thinks it gives her a better chance of making people stay rather than escape all the time. SHe also really wants for there to be some more home-made freaks for the show. Exact words actually." He reached into the bag and gave the drugs to the hulking brute, then grabbed a needle, a thread, and some anitseptic. He grabbed a neaby stool and stood upon it behind Hyde. "This will sting, antiseptic always does."
He squirted some of the clear liquid onto the wound and heard a bird behind him fly and land on the man's shoulder wound. "Archimedes! Get out of there, it's unsanitary."
He shooed off the bird, then started stitching the sides of the wound together.
(For anyone who plays TF2, hope you enjoy the little reference.)

Hyde flinches slighty as he applied the antiseptic "i'm use to the pain" he says glanceing at Mina "hur hur who said anything about marriage?" Edward chuckles at the thought then narrows his eyes at the bird as it lands on him making the brute give out a hiss of pain. "god help you if that get's infected from that damn bird!" Edward growls then reaches a hand out and holds on to the bar of the cages for support for he was getting dizzy from the loss of blood. "Mina?" he grunts out in that short span of time Edward wondered if she was still in the cage or had gotten out.

"Yes...who said anything about marriage?" Mina thought somewhat bitterly at Hyde's joking. "Really...would someone like Hyde even get married, and we both know a family is out of the question. That could be something Pavi could possibly give me though." She shook the thought off as soon as she had it, focusing instead on the lover in front of her rather than the one who was away at the moment.
"Then the circus should look elsewhere," Mina said in a even tone. "As far as I know Hyde is sterile. So you'll have to look else where for homemade freaks. And even then if I could have children I'd be damned to let anyone put them on display!"
She reached through the bars and clutched Hyde's hand, letting him know that she was there and that she wouldn't leave his side anytime soon. But Mina kept her eyes right on Nathan, just in case he tried anything, she might not be able to do anything while behind bars. But if anyone dared hurt Hyde outside a performance, Mina would get her revenge on them, she'd just have to be very patient.

children hyde thought then his eyes widend as he remembed something from yesterday "Mina" he grunts the touch of her hand calms him slightly "yesterday Morgan told me that you..they were gonna try and find another winged creature/man for you to be mated with" concer fills his brown eyes "she said it's to repopulate the acts or something" he growls his knuckes now going white from gripping the bars so hard they bend under the pressure of the man's grip. "what gonna happen if this is true?" Hyde's head suddeny snaps to look over at Nathan "do you know anything about this?" Hyde growls trying to control his anger else the doctor might hit a vein or artary.

"I don't know," Mina said, wondering what would happen if she were to ever get impregnated (wether by Pavi, Frankie, or any winged man or other act) "But I'm going to say this if I ever do have a child, no matter who the father is, I will not let anyone or anything hurt it. If I have a child they'll be as much a part of me as my own body is. And if anyone dares hurt them they'll be as good as dead."
She gave Hyde a small glare, that said without words. 'And that includes you as well. So in the future if I do have a baby remember this.'

"i would never" Hyde gulps "NEVER" he says firmly "by some small chance you are impregnated I'll treat it as my own" Edward says and this was coming from the murder of Paris and London. "but I'll never let anyone do that to you Mina you know that" he reaches threw the cage to gently take her hand in his.

"That's good to know at least..." Mina said kissing his hand tenderly. "But I don't think you could stop me from having a child, after all you already know that out relationship is...an untraditional one." She said choosing her words carefully. "And that we've both had more than one sexual partner, so in the event I have a child through a willing copulation I expect you to not go after the father, just so long as I'm a willing participant."

"i mean yeah i would stop them if it was forced but by all mean if you are willing then go right ahead" Hyde rubs the back of his neck with his free hand starting to feel uncomrotable by all this. Hyde heaves a sight and press his bloodstained forehead agaist the bars of the cage. "you make it sound like you are willing to go with someone already" Hyde tilts his head up to look at his lover "well that's how i hear it anyway"

"That's not what I meant, exactly." Mina said quickly. "But you and I both know that Signore Largo and I have a consensual sexual relationship. And all I'm saying is that if he (or someone else) were to conceive a child with me you will not go after them."
She looked directly into Hyde's eyes, hoping this subject would be dropped till she worked out her own feelings toward Pavi as well as Hyde. This might be a subject best discussed with all three of them present...and some armed guards around just in case Hyde decided to take out his competition.
"Promise." She said in a serious tone of voice.

"I won't go after him I promise" Hyde says matching her tone of voice with his own. Hyde turns to look at the wounds on his body "they are only going to get worse you know" he admits "remember when I told you I might not make it out of there one day" Hyde's whole body now sags against the cage want to be as close to his lover as possible. "I fear when I'm gone they will hurt you"

"I'm not so sure about that, they won't kill me that's for damn sure!" Mina said bitterly. "It's pretty obvious that I'm the only fertile female present. They kill me they lose their womb, and I'm not sure which is worse. Dying...or being forced to have a child only to have it taken away or worse."
She gripped Hydes hand harder still trying to take some comfort in him being there at the moment.
"You made it through the Martian attack, and everything else. You'll make it through this, I believe that more than anything. It's the only thing that doesn't keep me from breaking down every single night."

"Correction I died. when I woke up I was here" Hyde tells her "yes, I suvived the 1st blast only because I knew I had to keep the tripod at bay" Hyde turns to look at Sarafina "what of her? She's fertile right?" the brute weakly opens the door to let Mina out "I lived as long as I did to keep you and the others safe"

Nathan continued to stitch Hyde up. He gave a small mumble in response to Hyde's question. "Never said anything about marriage, wasn't even planning on it."
He still was stitching as the two had their conversation. A small twitch was made in his upper left chest, where his heart lay still, not beating. He looked at Mina, face devoid of expression. Again, she reminded him of Marni. She had once told him that if she would ever have a baby, with him or someone else, she would protect it with her life. And she did just that. He was able to save Shilo, but Marni still was gone. A small idea popped into his head. If the Ringmaster could bring him to life, could she...? No. He would not do that to her, let her see the man, no, monster that he had become. Shilo was protected by him, but now she could do it on her own. He looked down. He had finished stitching. He hopped off the stool and dragged it to the side.
He glanced at the vampiress once more and made a silent vow himself. Nobody would harm her or the child and get away with it, not even the Ringmaster.
He looked up at Hyde. "I'm done."

"I really don't know if the lioness is or not, but either way they want humanoid acts. And since I'm theonly fertile humanoid here..." She left the rest unsaid. Mina still held onto Hydes hand, a little tighter when he mentioned dying.
She felt the Repoman's eyes on her, but did not move a fraction of an inch to return his gaze. Nathan disturbed her greatly as a member of the undead he disturbed her and reminded her of Dracula.
"Are you doing well now, Edward?" She said gently.

"just fine and dandy" he drawls sarcatily and makes a motion with his hand for her to step out of the cage if she so pleases to. "still weak from the blood loss though" he now moving to sit down on the stool Nathan had just used. "Mina what's the point of stitching me up if I'm just gonna fight again?" Edward asks even though the brute knew what the answer would be as sick as it was. "thank you...." the statement was directed at Nathan this time the words tasted bitter on his tongue.
