"Well they did save me, or so Jonathan thought. I was changed in a way." Mina said sitting down happy that at least her life story was taking some of the worry off Miku.
"Although the transformation was stopped before it was completed there was a noticable change in my apperance and demeanor. I became confident and independent, and less likely to be attacked. I was no longer the meek and "perfect" Victorian housewife Jonathan had hoped me to be. Jonathan became repulsed by her scars as they reminded him of the attack, and he blamed me for Dracula's attraction to me as well. Thinking I had seduced him rather than the other way around. Disgraced and more or less abandoned by my so called friends I sought employment with the British Empires secret service known as the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. Due to my experiance with the supernatural and with monsters."

Mina paused for a moment recalling her old League days with a mixture of happy nostalgia and sadness.
" We formed new League of Extraordinary Gentlemen to recover a stolen Cavorite from a Chinese crime lord. Flollowing my enlistment of Captain Nemo, Allan Quartermain, Doctor Henry Jekyll (along with his alter ego Mr. Edward Hyde who unfortunately you've already met.) and Hawley Griffin (who let's hope you do not meet.) We successfully managed to reacquire the Cavorite. But the League then discovered our recruiter was really Professer Moriarty, The Napolean of Crime. We intervened in a aerial battle over Longon between the forces of Moriarty's ground. While Nemo and Hyde handled the soldiers, Quartermain and I defeated Moriarty and destroyed the Cavorite. Afterwards we were recruited by the genuine M, Mycroft Holmes, brother of the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
Following that fight, the League were called to investigate landing meteors, and found themselves taking on Martians. After I was attacked by a rouge Griffin, who decided to help the Martians invade earth. Quartermain and I were sent away by the Government to recruit the aid of Doctor Moreau. During this time, he and I fell in love and became lovers. But after we discoverd that the British government and Mycroft had used dangerous biological disease bombs on the Martians, untested bombs which could have killed everyone, which the covered it up with by telling the public it was the common cold that killed the Martians.
With the pressumable deaths of Griffin, Hyde, as well as Nemo's resignation from the League. I became uncertain as to what she really wanted and left the League and Quartermain.
I stayed in a convent for a year, trying to make up for my past misdeeds. And then I ended up here, a mutated vampire-bat woman who needs the blood of the living to survive."

Miku listened intently, the way a small child would listen to a fiary tale. It was some extraordinary story. Was all that really true? The skeptical part of her found it hard to believe.
"Wait, Victorian, Sherlock Holmes, all that happened over a hundred years ago! Is it because you're a vampire that you are still in this time?"

[Mina Murray]

"I really couldn't tell you, luv." Mina said shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know where we are or when we are. I just woke up here changed and in a cage. To me it feels like it was only yesterday. It might be we're in the past or far, far into the future. I don't think it really matters either way as it doesn't change our situation."

"A different time...?" The thought chilled her. Even if she did get out of here, her loved ones might not be there... "So, what happens now?"

[Mina Murray]

"Well yes, while I was with the League I discovered a time machine in one of it's heavily guarded vaults. It was kept under twenty four hour seven days a week security. With all manner of weapons. To ensure no one could misuse it, if that exists I don't see why someone else couldn't make another one. And after vampires, martians and mutated circus preformers it really isn't that much of a stretch."

"A time machine..." Miku's short lived excitement was edging back into gloom "Do you know what time period it seemed outside? Like, was it more your time, or something else?"

"Something else." Mina said thinking about the few times she had been outside the circus. "Future probally. As it seems surgery is far far more advanced than it was in my time. Whole organs, vital and none, can be replaced in less than a day. Furthermore it seems to be fashionable to alter one's apperance drastically. And my...friend Pavi tells me that he and his family own a very powerful company called GeneCo that's the one to provide the entire world with synthetic organs and such."

She paused for a moment and looked at the girl.
"Does that sound like anything from your time?"

[Mauler, Maimer and Fluffy]

the large gamma pitbull enters the tent smelling the scent of a new poissable food source in the ring. the large tan dog's toungle lolls out of his paw as he parks himself and sits down a few feet away from Miku's cage. lime green eyes bore into the young girl as if the she was nothing but a rabbit he had hunted so offten. a string of drool hangs from Maimer's maw as he pants

"Nathan!" Mina said a bit of panic in her voice,"Get these dogs under control! Why are they never in their goddamn cages?! It's a matter of time before they start killing cast and customers alike!"

[Dr. Frank-N-Furter]

"Get your goddamn paws off me, you brute!"

Once again, a loud, agitated voice entered the tent, belonging to another act who clearly did not want to be there. Frank-N-Furter kicked fiercely against his captor, his hooves narrowly missing the man's skinny legs as he was dragged towards one of the empty cages. In all honesty, his restrainer didn't truly have his "paws" on the satyr; he simply was pushing him forward by the force of his enchanted cane, along with tugging him every now and then by a long chain linked around his neck.

Facilier rolled his eyes at Frank-N-Furter's protests, slamming him against the back bars of a cage before swinging the door shut. He at last released the pull of his cane, but kept the chain around the other, latching it to one of the bars so that the alien was limited in his movements.

"Shut up, ya randy little freak," the Shadowman sneered, poking his cane through the bars to press against Frank's chest. "And calm the hell down. Solitary obviously does no good with the likes of you. I'd rather ya bother the others than be stuck guarding you another minute!"

Frankie glared up at the other, narrowing his eyes at Facilier before spitting into his face. The worker flinched, turning away in disgust as he wiped his face, then turned around once more to glare down at the alien. Slamming his cane against the other's chest and making Frankie fall back against the bars again, Facilier turned away, facing the other male worker now.

"Can you handle this for me, Wallace? I ain't got the time nor the patience to deal with 'im at the moment, and I don't trust myself not to kill the damn wretch."

Miku let out another whimper and edged back from the dog. It didn't want to eat her, did it?
"Why yes, science has come a long way like that, and so many changes can be made. I guess, it was quite possible that changes like this could be made...." Her fingers trailed the stitches lining her furry legs, and she winced. They still felt quite sore.
She jumped as more people can in, shouting.

[Morgan Le Fay]

"I'll gladly help you with him, Doctor." Morgana said cooly looking at the Saytr man in disgust. "Wallace is to, soft hearted at times when it comes to these things."

Morgana lifted a hand an in her palm a ball of bright blue, purple, and white flame burst forth.

"Disobey the circus again, creature," Morgana said to Frankenfurter stepping closer to his cage and bringing the very hot flame closer to the bars. "And I'll make sure that you will suffer for a long, long time. And if you're lucky I might kill you." She smirked then, pushing her hand into the bars so that the ball of flame was close to Frankies face. "Do we understand each other?"

"Please, don't!" Miku cried out to the witch, unable to help herself as she watched the scene.

Mina winced as the sorceress threatened her friend. Really he should've learned how to behave by now. She glanced over nervously at Miku, hoping and praying none of the workers would hurt her for her out burst.
"Miku, please..." Mina said quietly. "Stay silent, they won't listen. It'll only make things worse."

Mina closed her eyes as Morgna stuck the flame near Frankies face, dear God that woman terrified her sometimes. She just hoped he hadn't bit off more than he could chew this time.

[Garrett]

Garrett just listened hanging on to a nearby post, allowing his senses to tell what was going on. He didn't bother speaking, just observing.

Nathan scowled. "Miss Le Fay!"

He had had enough of her antics for today and her insult just doubled his anger. "I do not appreciate the fact that you do whatever you wish when it comes to the attractions. If memory serves correctly, you are not the Ringmaster. And only the she can or harm the attractions or give others permission to do so. If you don't take a step away from that satyr right now, I will kill you myself."

He gave a glance to Mina and the girl. Great, a sort-of reminder of his past has just been multiplied. How in the world was he going to stay focused when Mina reminded him of Marni so much? And the vision of her being the perfect mother whenever he thought of her has also come to haunt him as it seemed that Mina wished to adopt the girl somewhat.

He walked over to the large pitbull, Mauler, and gave him a harsh kick to the sides.
